Tear out and replace existing deck
$33,685.21 includes removal and disposal of existing deck, installation of new deck and framing using existing concrete footings, redwood 2 x 6 to match existing deck. Includes restoration and refinishing of existing lower deck to make old and new decks blend. This includes materials and labor.
Amended scope of work con hear redwood
$6500.00 includes installation of con heart redwood to match quality of existing wood. This is based on site demo and inspection of existing wood on deck. In order to match existing deck con common redwood
New railing on existing deck (damaged area only).
$3,268.17 includes installation of new railing on collapsed portion of lower deck to match existing railing. This includes materials and labor.
Hot tub removal
$1200.00 includes removal and disposal of existing hot tub. This includes materials and labor.
Repair of attached deck
$1,251.45 includes installation of new beam on existing deck where the collapsed deck ripped away from. This includes materials and labor.
Add new beam on existing deck and rebuild lower landing on rear stair area
$3,186.80 includes installation of glue lam beam on existing deck and rebuild of lower landing on rear stairs adjacent to deck

We require 25% deposit to schedule and begin design/engineering process, 25% within 2 weeks prior to start, remainder on completion. We may request an additional payment of 25% of remaining total before finish commensurate with work performed.
Installation process:
Composite includes installation of composite decking using universal hidden fasteners, control joints for expansion and contraction at butt seams, alternating seam pattern, square edge border piece around outer edge of decking top fastened with trim head composite screws.
Redwood decking installation includes using a perpendicular border piece to conceal all end grains, pre-stain on 5 sides prior to installation, installation of decking with pilot holes on all board ends and buff sand, acid wash and pressure wash prior to final staining top deck surface.
Hardwood decking installation using #8 trim head stainless steel screws, prestained on 5 sides prior to installation, buff sand, acid wash and pressure wash prior to final staining top deck surface. We can also do plugs or hidden fasteners for an additional price.
