Restoration existing deck
$1,861.58 includes mechanical sanding to remove all of existing stain and oxidized wood, countersinking screws, tightening boards, acid wash, pressure wash, stain with translucent in your choice of tint. This includes materials and labor. Redwood board replacement additional $8.00 per linear foot (not included).
Extension
$7,219.97 includes installation of new framing based on engineering specifications using pressure treated joists and galvanized hardware. 5 foot wide stairs to grade. Installation of mid range composite or redwood decking. This includes materials and labor.
Cable Railing
$1,007.68 includes installation of 15 feet cable railing with redwood 4 x 4 posts and 2 x 6 cap stained. Stainless cable with stainless turnbuckle tensioners and eye bolts. This includes materials and labor.
Gate
$558.25 includes installation of gate with redwood 2 x 4 and 2 x 6, gate hardware, stainless cable with turnbuckle tensioners. This includes materials and labor.
Step
$386.75 includes step off of existing deck to grade with concrete slab support and redwood decking. This includes materials and labor.
Our Installation process:
Redwood decking installation includes using a perpendicular border piece to conceal all end grains, pre-stain on 5 sides prior to installation, installation of decking with pilot holes on all board ends and buff sand, acid wash and pressure wash prior to final staining top deck surface.
Total job: $11,034.22 with restoration of existing deck + actual engineering, and permit cost if applicable.
We require 25% deposit to schedule and begin design/engineering process, 25% within 2 weeks of start remainder on completion. We may request an additional payment of 25% of remaining total before finish commensurate with work performed.
