New Deck

$12,158.81 includes construction of new deck in landscape with concrete footings pressure treated lumber and steel framing and entry priced composite decking such as Trex Select or Enhance. This is dependent on final design. This estimate is for materials and labor.

Cable Railing

$3,339.57 includes installation of cable railing with steel posts and hardwood cap using feeney tensioners and powder coated steel posts. This includes materials and labor.

Steps

$915.88 includes installation of 2 nested composite tread stairs treads with slab for bearing and treated lumber frame. This includes materials and labor.

Total job:  $16,414.26 + actual engineering and permit cost if applicable. 

We require 25% deposit to schedule and begin design/engineering process, 25% within 2 weeks of start remainder on completion. We may request an additional payment of 25% of remaining total before finish commensurate with work performed. 

2.75% charge for credit card (in person)

Installation process:

Composite includes installation of composite decking using universal hidden fasteners, control joints for expansion and contraction at butt seams, alternating seam pattern, square edge border piece around outer edge of decking top fastened with trim head composite screws.

Redwood decking installation includes using a perpendicular border piece to conceal all end grains, pre-stain on 5 sides prior to installation, installation of decking with pilot holes on all board ends and buff sand, acid wash and pressure wash prior to final staining top deck surface. 

Hardwood decking installation using #8 trim head stainless steel screws, prestained on 5 sides prior to installation, buff sand, acid wash and pressure wash prior to final staining top deck surface.  We can also do plugs or hidden fasteners for an additional price.
