Option 1: remove every other post on south facing main edge of deck (3 posts).
Log post removal:
$3500.oo includes removal and disposal of 4 existing logs and 3 4 x 4 (stairs), hydraulic jacking to level, installation of beam to support 12' span between posts, installed below the current outer face and under the existing joists. Installation and painting (to match) of new composite decking to fill in holes left from posts. This includes labor and materials.

Option 2 cut off logs to deck height
$3500,00 includes cutting and disposal of all log rails at deck height, extend deck outward 1 foot to cover post tops. Including rough cedar outer facing This includes materials and labor, .
