Extension
$16,569.88 includes installation of deck extension with vertical support posts and legering off of existing deck and house. Glue lam beams to support loads required by code, pressure treated joists, galvanized hardware, 6 x 6 posts, trex select or similar decking. This includes materials and labor.
Replace existing decking
$5,080.32 includes removal and disposal of existing decking, installation of new decking using composite decking with hidden fasteners and square edge in contrasting color using Trex Select. This includes materials and labor. This does not include structural work such as joist replacement.
New railing
$5,890.34 includes installation of new railing using wood 6 x 6 or steel 4 x 4 posts and powder coated steel railing or basic stainless steel cable railing with turnbuckle tensioners. This is pending final design and meant to provide approximate cost.
Installation process:
Composite includes installation of composite decking using universal hidden fasteners, control joints for expansion and contraction at butt seams, alternating seam pattern, square edge border piece around outer edge of decking top fastened with trim head composite screws.
Redwood decking installation includes using a perpendicular border piece to conceal all end grains, pre-stain on 5 sides prior to installation, installation of decking with pilot holes on all board ends and buff sand, acid wash and pressure wash prior to final staining top deck surface.
Hardwood decking installation using #8 trim head stainless steel screws, prestained on 5 sides prior to installation, buff sand, acid wash and pressure wash prior to final staining top deck surface. We can also do plugs or hidden fasteners for an additional price.

Mid range: Trex Enhance, Timbertech evolutions terrain
High end: Trex Transcend
Total job: $27,540.53+ actual engineering and permit cost if applicable.
We require 25% deposit to schedule and begin design/engineering process, 25% within 2 weeks of start remainder on completion. We may request an additional payment of 25% of remaining total before finish commensurate with work performed.
2.75% charge for credit card (in person)
3.5% charge for over the phone credit card transactions
