Replace decking with trex
$7,185.35 includes Installation of 2 additional stringers on each run of stairs. Installation of new composite decking using Trex Transcend or similar. This includes materials and labor. This does not include joist replacement @$65.00 each.
Deck extension
$4,181.80 includes installation of deck extension including moving beam, cut off long support columns at framing height, canilvered joists 3' x 16' over driveway. This includes materials and labor.
Deck extension (east)
$5,081.38 includes installation of deck extension including installation of 1 new vertical 12 x 12 column and footing, new beam, additional railing as needed, joists 3' x 16' over east side of deck. This includes materials and labor.
Staining/painting existing columns, railing and joists
$1,694.00 includes staining and painting of existing columns to match existing coating and solid stain on joists scrape and spray application. This includes materials and labor.
Rock wraps for bases of columns
$9,792.00 includes cut existing column to 42" above grade, cap concrete pier, installation of dry stock natural stone to match existing stone on house with sloped horizontal top ledge. This includes materials and labor.
New railing
$7,120.00 includes installation of cable railing with 1 x 2 powder coated steel posts, hardwood 1 x 6 cap, stainless cable with turnbuckle tensioners. This includes materials and labor. Add 10% for composite cap with extra steel work.
New vertical column
$2,200.00 includes removal and disposal of existing log column on front deck holding up roof with 112 x 12 square rough sawn column. This includes materials and labor.
Replace all deck columns
$12,927.00 includes removal and disposal of (6) existing deck columns, installation of new 12 x 12 rough sawn timber columns. This includes materials and labor.
Modify Concrete wall
$2,867.50 includes cut concrete wall and modify to make parallel to deck height. This includes materials and labor.

Maintenance on deck
$362.50 includes pressure wash to clean, furniture moving one way, acid wash, staining and wiping. This includes labor and materials. Recommended after 12, then every 18-36 months depending on deck's exposure.This is an optional service not included in the original contract.
We require 25% deposit to schedule and begin design/engineering process, 25% within 2 weeks prior to start, remainder on completion. We may request an additional payment of 25% of remaining total before finish commensurate with work performed.
Installation process:
Composite includes installation of composite decking using universal hidden fasteners, control joints for expansion and contraction at butt seams, alternating seam pattern, square edge border piece around outer edge of decking top fastened with trim head composite screws.
Redwood decking installation includes using a perpendicular border piece to conceal all end grains, pre-stain on 5 sides prior to installation, installation of decking with pilot holes on all board ends and buff sand, acid wash and pressure wash prior to final staining top deck surface.
Hardwood decking installation using #8 trim head stainless steel screws, prestained on 5 sides prior to installation, buff sand, acid wash and pressure wash prior to final staining top deck surface. We can also do plugs or hidden fasteners for an additional price.
